With the generous assistance of Hewlett Packard, The Clean50 Summit will gather together about 120 of Canada’s leading authorities on sustainability, clean tech, low carbon economies, and political leaders. The Summit will introduce 30 Clean50 Alumni to over 95% of the incoming Canada’s 2017 Clean50 Honourees from across Canada, all 10 of the 2016 Emerging Leaders, and most of the project leaders from the winning Clean50 Top 15 Projects teams.
Together this group of forward looking achievers will spend a full day working in cross sectoral teams to discuss ways in which collectively, we can help Canadians better understand the urgent need for action presented by carbon induced climate change, while advancing Canada’s prosperity in a sustainable fashion.
Over lunch, our leading Project honourees will receive their awards and then make rapid fire presentations to a team of 3 Clean50 “Dragons”. All participants will then vote for their favourites and crown this year’s “Clean50 Top Project of the Year”
After a cocktail reception, Honourees will be treated to an award dinner that includes an address from 29th Lieutenant Governor of Ontario, the Honourable Elizabeth Dowdeswell, OC OOnt
We look forward to another amazing day of inspiration, connection, and recognition of our sustainability heroes.
The Clean50 Summit will be powered by clean energy from Bullfrog – and our office supplies come from sustainability leader Staples.
