She pioneered national assessments of GHG emissions and e-waste in the telecom industry, and demonstrated how responsible digitalization can lower emissions in high-impact sectors. Afaf also helped a leading telecom provider save 100,000 tCO2e by 2030, with minimal costs, and transformed an oil and gas company into a holistic energy service provider, potentially cutting 280,000 tCO2e. Her expertise spans decarbonizing 2 million square feet of buildings and developing cutting-edge climate models and net-zero strategies.
