Ahmed Elganzouri
Leading collaboration via two cross-company working groups and external partnerships with suppliers, Ahmed has brought people together to help GM’s procurement process align to reduce packaging and carbon to support the company’s zero-waste and carbon neutral goals, as well as transitioning to ensuring a majority of the parts in GM vehicles are “sustainable content” by 2030. He also played an instrumental role in developing GM’s 2020+ goals that relate to material use and manufacturing waste, with GM completing a successful pilot of sustainable fiber-based packaging for GM’s ventilators and face mask productions. Ahmed is a founding member of the Gender Identity Advisory Board, providing guidance to policy development, inclusive workplaces, and rolling out Gender-Neutral facilities.
