Alastair is advancing the impact of the carbon trading market in Alberta through Radicle’s Emission Carbon Accounting Software, a platform that measures, reports, and verifies GHG emission reductions for their customers and develops Methane Reduction Retrofit Compliance Plans to facilitate the shift to more sustainable O&G production. Over the last two years, ECAS quantified 1.1 million tonnes of GHG emissions in the agriculture sector from farmers that converted to sustainable agriculture practices and 872,054 tonnes in the energy sector by facilitating the switch to zero or low methane emission O&G production equipment. Radicle has produced 10% of all carbon credits generated in Alberta, representing 6.85 million tonnes of emissions reduced, and delivered over $100 million to clients.
