A political organizer and climate strategist, Alex has spent 15 years weaving together municipal insight, federal policy, and movement advocacy into climate action. Under her leadership, CAN-Rac’s national policy team grew to five full-time experts, equipping 180+ members with the tools to engage government strategically. She orchestrated multiple high-impact lobby days and federal election initiatives: her team’s persistent advocacy contributed to stronger climate legislation and relationships. When she’s not shaping policy, she’s mentoring emerging advocates, and helping support strong climate candidates win elections, proving that influence is most powerful when generously shared.
