Climate strategies are charting visionary paths to a low-carbon future, but they also present a challenge: implementation. Anaïssia applies engineering to the problem to bring ambitious goals into being. She leads CIMA+’s Strategic Consulting & Advisory practice, a service area she helped establish and that in two years, has grown to support 112 client organizations through a core team of 14 specialists, drawing on over 3,700 professionals. Anaïssia’s work spans from policy to technology. Her Quebec freight truck electrification study informed Bill 81 and showed that the right policies could push zero-emission truck sales to 66 percent by 2035 and cut emissions by up to 1.2 million tonnes of CO2e yearly. ZE+, a federally funded modelling platform she helped build, gives freight operators an achievable, data-driven roadmap to emissions-free fleet operations.
