Anne-Raphaëlle Audouin
When Nukik completes the Kivalliq Hydro-Fibre Link, the 1,200 km long pioneering effort is expected to slash 370,000 tonnes of CO₂ annually by replacing diesel with dramatically cleaner grid power. Since January 2023, Anne-Raphaëlle has secured $25 million+ in federal and territorial funding commitments, completed route feasibility and regulatory pre-assessments, and advanced Inuit-led project ownership and governance through the Kivalliq Inuit Association and Nukik. Once completed it’s expected to be the most impactful clean energy infrastructure project in the Arctic to date. Beyond the infrastructure, Anne-Raphaëlle elevates the North in Canada’s energy transition, speaking at national forums and successfully advocating for Arctic priorities in consecutive federal budgets. Her leadership fuses energy security, climate action, and reconciliation in one Arctic blueprint.
