Under Anthony’s forward looking leadership, the team at Toronto Hydro has powered some significant accomplishments. Among the many: delivered 24% of the province’s conservation and demand management (CDM) focused savings (serving only 19% of the population), connected 11,000 solar projects, partnered with the city to install 8,800 panels on City owned buildings producing 2,600 MWh of electricity, and invested in trialling emerging technologies such as compressed air and pole top energy storage and community energy storage.  Setting an example, the organization has also moved to cut their own energy use, install their own solar panels, and delivering a raft of conservation programs in their vehicle, building and data operations.
