Toronto-based energy software company, Edgecom delivers measurable energy efficiency at industrial scale. Its AI- and IoT-powered platform manages more than 980 MW of load across 205+ commercial and industrial facilities in 16 states and provinces. With 900+ devices deployed, Edgecom delivers $103 million in annual energy savings and has saved clients over $350 million to date, now cutting more than 60,000 tonnes of CO₂ each year. The Certified B Corp. has scaled from 6 to 30 employees, and has attracted several awards from industry as a global leader in industrial energy innovation.

Behdad leads Edgecom’s product and growth, translating industrial pain points into scalable tools. A CEM and CMVP, he combines both deep technical knowledge and an appreciation of customer needs a company delivering measurably valuable solutions across North America. He scaled the team from 6 to 30, secured B Corp certification, and drove adoption across 205+ sites in 16 regions. He has also led asset optimization eff orts for one of Edgecom’s battery projects delivering $1M annual savings and over 9 tonnes of CO2e reduction.
