A surname like Greenhouse practically demands a career in renewables, and Ben has delivered, growing Potentia’s operating portfolio to roughly 2.1 gigawatts across Canada and the US, displacing about 2.5 million tonnes of CO2e annually. He developed and broke ground on the 411 MW Skyview 2 battery system, the largest ever procured in Canada, in partnership with the Algonquins of Pikwàkanagàn First Nation, and structured deals with ten First Nations that secured 315 MW of Saskatchewan wind and solar contracts, some with over 50 percent Indigenous equity ownership.
