Beth Hunter

Executive Director, FoodBridge

What do you get when you mix 50+ expert interviews, a regional grain supply chain launch, and regenerative ag pilot programs? If you’re Beth Hunter, the answer is momentum. Since founding FoodBridge in 2021, Beth has turned niche conversations into coordinated action. In 2024, she launched Guarding the Grain, uniting 46 key players across barley, rye, sunflower and more in Quebec. Meanwhile, she co-piloted a regenerative oats and corn initiative with the Ontario Soil Network and PepsiCo, and is building supply chain collaborations in southern Ontario with farms and companies of all sizes. Her co-authored framework for Canadian philanthropic investment is already shaping national funding strategies. Beth doesn’t just plant seeds—she builds entire ecosystems around them.
