Leading a staff of 720, with responsibility for over 44,000 green acres, 1,000 stormwater management facilities and a budget of over $100 M would be all consuming for most, but Brian goes further. TRCA not only leads the GTA’s climate change mitigation response in many regards, it also reaches out to over 600 companies, working (with the GTAA) to lead the “Partners in Project Green” program, and through The Living City Foundation to teach love of the environment to thousands of school children each year. Revitalization of the Scarborough Bluffs and the mouth of the Don are also on the list!
