Operating two district systems with four high-efficiency energy production plants, his career is a blueprint for energy excellence. Bruce’s leadership is not just about cutting emissions (by a whopping 50%) but also about inspiring others, advising municipalities and organizations across Canada wanting to launch and grow their district energy systems modelled after the Markham story. With cutting-edge projects like the world’s largest wastewater energy transfer system in the works, and with an extensive background in industry association leadership, Bruce has demonstrated that innovation and dedication can power tangible change.
