Calvin led the design and delivery of $31.7 million of climate change mitigation rebate programs for municipal governments in Alberta, while also providing robust education and technical support to elected officials and administrative staff. Projects include over 200 energy efficiency audits and retrofits in municipal recreation centres, embedding 26 energy management experts in 38 communities, adding 190 EVs to municipal fleets, and doubling Alberta’s public EV charging infrastructure by adding 330 new stations across the province. Over 120 unique participating municipalities are achieving over $5 million in annual energy cost savings and avoiding over 20,800 tonnes of CO2e per year.
