CEO, SWTCH Energy Inc.

By 2030, there will be 5 million+ electrical vehicle (EV) drivers living in multi-unit residential buildings (MURBs) without access to charging in North America. SWTCH was founded by Carter Li to address the unique challenges of deploying EV charging in MURBs. Since 2021, SWTCH has become an industry leader in EV charging solutions for MURBS with over 7,150 charging stations deployed at over 1,150 high-density buildings resulting in over 5,781 tonnes of GHG emission reductions. These stations have helped over 22,000 EV drivers get over 355,000 charging transactions at home, and have broken down one of the biggest barriers to EV adoption by increasing easy access to charging infrastructure.
