Cindy Bailey
Since 2021, Cindy has worked with stakeholders to achieve significant progress towards Purolator’s interim goals to reduce scope 1 and 2 emissions by 42% by 2030, electrify 60% of last-mile delivery vehicles, use 100% renewable electricity in operations, and divert over 70% of non-hazardous waste from landfill. Thus far, progress includes deploying approximately 100 EVs on routes by the end of 2023, reducing scope 2 emissions by 70% through renewable electricity purchases, increasing company-wide landfill waste diversion by 30% over the past two years, and piloting renewable diesel at three sites. Cindy has also led the development of science-based targets, increased disclosures, and introduced the first public facing environmental sustainability strategy and targets for Purolator, including the largest network investment in its history: $1-billion by 2030 for the purchase of over 3,500 electric delivery vehicles and electrification of over 60 terminals across Canada.
