Coro Strandberg
Over the past 25 years, Coro has helped numerous businesses improve social and environmental conditions through their operations and value chains; notably, she helped The Co-operators Group Ltd. move from unlisted to number 1 on the 2011 Corporate Knights list of top Corporate Citizens. She has produced many resources to advance sustainability in the marketplace, including CSR tools for Industry Canada’s website and Credit Union Central of Canada’s CSR information hub, along with a number of tools to integrate sustainability into corporate strategy, management systems, purchasing, human resource management and investment. With partners, Coro launched the CSR Board Governance Guidelines to help corporate boards enhance their role in CSR oversight. Coro has coached, trained and advised a number of boards, executives and corporate teams in service, financial, and beverage companies, local governments, trade associations and crown corporations.
