Dr. Sean Cleary
Sean played lead role in establishing the Institute for Sustainable Finance (ISF) as a collaborative hub for academia, private sector, and governments. Focused on increasing Canada’s sustainable finance capacity, since its inception the institute has released numerous studies to inform the general public on the current landscape of Sustainable Finance and provided educational opportunities such as RI Essentials for Investment Professionals, a course available through RIA Canada that is designed for portfolio managers, analysts, consultants and other financial professionals who require intermediate knowledge on the benefits of responsible investment. The ISF was a leader in the establishment of the Canadian Sustainable Finance Network – an academic network that has grown to over 110 members representing over 30 universities.
