Dustin turns climate adaptation from idea into action ASAP. He helped shape the $530 million Local Leadership for Climate Adaptation initiative, making sure 75% of planning projects and 50% of on-the-ground work benefits equity-deserving communities, with $17 million already awarded after year one. He also raised $291 million for the Growing Canada’s Community Canopies initiative, planting 125,000 trees so far in communities needing shade and cool air. And with PACE financing for home retrofits, he’s making resilience practical for homeowners without tens of thousands in spare cash.
