Principal, Carbon Wise
Through innovative design, Elisabeth brings embodied carbon out of spreadsheets and into the public consciousness. Over the past two years, she’s guided her team of four to deliver 30+ Life Cycle Assessments and innovative projects such as the Phoenix Project, winner of the 2024 BC Embodied Carbon Award, a post-wildfire rebuild that achieved a record 115 kg CO₂e/m² intensity. Her Cambie Tower case study publicly linked carbon reductions to construction costs, supporting Vancouver’s low-carbon building policy. Recognized with back-to-back Embodied Carbon Awards, she advises municipalities and national technical advisory groups, showing that high-performance, low-carbon buildings can be beautiful, practical, and scalable.
