President, Automotive Parts Manufacturers' Association

Flavio set out to prove Canada could build a zero-emission car from scratch, and Project Arrow didn’t just hit the mark, it redefined what the country’s auto industry could do together. The vehicle packs in 58 Canadian technologies at 97 percent Canadian content, the largest collaborative innovation effort in the history of the country’s auto supply sector, pulling 534 companies into one build. A global tour through 2024 and 2025 put those technologies on stage in front of decision-makers across North America, Europe, and Asia, helping suppliers land more than $500 million in new business. Project Arrow 2.0 launched at the 2026 Canadian International AutoShow with two new vehicles and over 80 partners, and procurement for Arrow 3.0 is already underway. One concept car has quietly become a whole quiver, and Flavio is still drawing the bow.
