Greg and his team are showing us how carbon negative operations can end with positive outcomes for all – as they produce carbon negative, renewable fuel at extremely low cost. Woodland’s technology uses waste biomass to generate carbon negative hydrogen, renewable natural gas (RNG), methanol and ethanol, resulting in up to a 283% reduction in GHG emissions. The works out to a whopping 454,000+ tonnes of CO2e reduced each year! Their model also helps divert waste from landfill; a single project in Sarnia alone – which produces RNG from construction and demolition wood waste – will free local landfills from absorbing 300,000 tonnes of material each year.
