With Student Energy, Helen has transformed the landscape for young people driving the energy transition. From convening 400 youth at the Student Energy Summit in Abu Dhabi to launching research publications like the Youth Impact Framework, she ensures youth voices are amplified. Guided projects she championed range from solar-powered composting in Manitoba to clean energy replacing diesel at a nonprofit ski hill in BC. Representing youth at COP28 and advising Canada’s top climate institutes, Helen shows that when it comes to powering the future, she truly has Watt it takes!
