Over the past two years, Jake’s team at Kuby Energy has deployed 20 MW of residential, commercial, and utility-scale solar across western Canada, representing more than $50 million in infrastructure and cutting an estimated 10,000+ tonnes of CO2 annually, while supporting 125 direct and 100 indirect full-time careers. He built Carbon by Kuby, a platform combining renewable deployment, carbon management, and virtual power plant software to help roughly 2,500 projects move past the usual execution barriers. Among the highlights: the largest rooftop solar installation in BC’s history, a 1.71 MW array now generating enough clean electricity for 200 homes, and the first phase of a former glass factory’s rebirth as an Eco-Business Park, Jake is proving that yesterday’s industrial site can still catch the light.
