Before 2019, NEI Investments offered both Responsible Investment (RI) and non-RI funds, split approximately 50/50, but desired to transition to 100% RI mandates. Since he joined the company, John’s led them through an evolution of their long-standing commitment to responsible investing through fund mergers, changes and launches, improved manager selection and oversight, and internal ESG integration. He’s laid out several different initiatives for the firm such as broadening the lineup of standalone RI equity and fixed income mandates, integrating ESG policies in all new funds, and introducing a focus on positive impact investment strategies.
