Jonathan Westeinde

Jonathan and his team are hitting a lot of Canadian firsts for the green building industry: Development of Canada’s first LEED Platinum Community, the first LEED Platinum mixed-use buildings, and the first One Planet Living endorsed community. Jonathan also helped create the first real estate impact fund – the One Planet Living Real Estate Fund – focused on working with local community partners to create sustainable real estate outcomes. The $1 billion pipeline will impact approximately 1 million square feet of new real estate development and uses an open-source approach leveraging the oneplanet.com platform to share all development strategies to help accelerate impact in the real estate sector.
