Jyoti leads Nature’s Path’s sustainability strategies to help the company live into their mission of leaving the Earth better than they found it. Nature’s Path annually avoids 38 million pounds of synthetic fertilizer and 529,000 pounds of chemical pesticides. They established the first Canadian farm to receive Regenerative Organic Certification, meaning they build on environmental benefits of organic by incorporating techniques to help sequester carbon in the soil. They’ve also pledged to make all packaging recyclable, reusable, or compostable by 2025, and have already achieved 97% recyclable packaging. They are the first company to have all multinational manufacturing sites zero waste certified. The company’s Sustainable Procurement initiatives are industry leading.
