
Kaitlyn Gillis, MScArch, MScEnvPsych
Kaitlyn’s unique knowledge of biophilic design, combined with an expert level understanding of buildings, allows her to bridge the worlds of sustainable design and environmental psychology with a focus on real-world impact. Highlights of her work include leading research on indoor air quality and low-emitting materials for the City of Vancouver (with hcma), contributing to Living Future Europe’s Biophilia Playbook, and co-leading a collaborative group developing environmental policy resolutions for New Brunswick’s current government. Kaitlyn has worked with UNB faculty to integrate sustainability and social impact initiatives across research and curriculum. She also engages in the broader community through presentations and public engagement.
Combining research, communications, and strategic thinking, Kaitlyn helps organizations holistically meet health, nature, and climate goals, providing consulting and advocacy from a base in New Brunswick on projects across Canada.
