Scotiabank’s VP of CSR, Kaz Flinn is the leader behind the bank’s flagship environmental program, EcoLiving. The biggest impact has been the ability to educate Canadians on how to reduce their environmental footprint and save money. This has been achieved by assembling home energy information, expertise and resources in one website making it easier for homeowners to learn about and make energy usage changes at home. Through research and extensive consultation, Kaz recognized that there was a large desire on the part of Canadians to become more environmentally responsible but a void in education, resources and expertise to help them get started.
