Given that the BC Hydro grid is 98% powered by clean energy and that transportation in BC is the largest GHG emitter in the province (fossil fuel extraction #2), it only makes sense to electrify as much transportation as possible. Enter Kymm, who leads the company’s efforts to partner with transit agencies, ports, airports, and EV / EB fleet operators. Her subject matter expertise has helped accelerate the transition, in part through the creation of new EV Fleet rates designed to eliminate barriers to electrifying transportation. To drive further uptake she is currently working on an innovative project collaborating with the West Coast Clean Transit Corridor Initiative that explores public charging hubs along North America’s west coast, and sits on the Board of CUTRIC
