From concept to execution, managing milestones in-between, Lee has been instrumental leading Dream’s Net Zero by 2035 Action Plan. At the helm of the Net Zero Working group, comprising 30 cross-disciplinary professionals, Lee has spearheaded the strategy and action plan for reaching Net Zero across USD$8.4B+ of Dream’s portfolio. Lee is the fresh face of sustainability at board and executive meetings, making the business case for continual stakeholder buy-in. When it was time to take scissors to the red ribbon and unveil the Action Plan to the public, it was Lee who led the document’s development and publication, setting the bar for peers in the Canadian real estate industry. Lee has been instrumental in also raising funding to implement the Action Plan; under Lee’s oversight, $136M of capital financing and over $2M in grants has been secured to improve building operations, energy, and water performance, reducing GHG emissions across the office and multi-residential portfolio.
