Lisa not only leads the North American operations of one of the 60 largest architecture firms in the world, she is the sustainability lead for B+H Worldwide, and also became the first female and second Canadian to Chair the World Green Building Council, the group that drives the Net Zero standard. Her international leadership also includes ground-breaking work to develop indoor air quality (IAQ) standards and the creation of a comprehensive database inventorying products’ VOCs and off-gassing performance, now considered the international standard. Here at home, she led her firm’s work on the largest and first institutional net-zero-carbon building in Canada to date – Mohawk College’s Joyce Centre for Partnership & Innovation.
