Meet Madison, the strategist who treats CO₂ like a building block. She helped scale the Carbon Upcycling team from 5 to 45 employees, launched Canada’s largest cement-based carbon utilization project which will repurpose ~34,000 tonnes of industrial byproducts into high-performance, low-carbon cement additives, avoiding ~27,000 tonnes of CO₂ yearly. She also co-led a US$26.5M funding round, securing backing from top cement companies and local investors. Previously a co-founder at Oco, she embedded CO₂ in products for brands ranging from Adidas to Helly Hansen. From patents to pilot plants, she blends technical rigor, commercial strategy, and creative outreach to make carbontech practical, scalable, and profitable.
