Morgan Lehtinen, PhD

Determined to keep Canada’s most promising clean technologies from stalling, Morgan leveraged her firsthand experience commercializing clean-water tech to build an ecosystem closing the scale-up gap. In 2024, she launched RXN HUB’s Kingston facility, equipping deep-tech ventures with specialized infrastructure and a network to drive real-world adoption. To help these ventures move from lab validation through piloting to commercial deployment, she forged alliances with NGen, OVIN, Bioindustrial Innovation Canada, Utilities Kingston, Modern Niagara, Deloitte, and more. The model is already working, proven by a purpose-built lab supporting UNDO Carbon’s 28,900-tonne carbon-removal agreement with Microsoft. Morgan has also taken her mission to Ottawa, testifying before the House of Commons to advocate for the infrastructure founders need to move from beaker to balance sheet.
