Mostafa Saad, MSc

Working at the forefront of decarbonization innovation, Mostafa is transforming how buildings approach sustainability with his research. Leading the development of AI-powered simulation models that can evaluate millions of solutions in near real-time, Mostafa is helping buildings develop decarbonization strategies faster than ever, bringing the analysis time down from a decade to seconds. This research work secured his place in the inaugural cohort awarded by the Quebec Comité Consultatif sur les Changements Climatiques. His impactful work includes managing 3 research projects, developing building prototypes for decarbonization, and collaborating with Indigenous communities. As a Public Scholar, Mostafa’s knowledge mobilization efforts are advancing Montreal’s decarbonization initiatives.
