Myrielle Robitaille
Eleven thousand school buses, fifty-two independent service centres, and not one shared spreadsheet: that was the puzzle waiting for Myrielle when Quebec set its 2030 electrification target. Her assessment classified buses by feasibility, weighing distance, climate, and grid access, including routes past 200 kilometres a day through winters that make battery range an honest question. The payoff: up to 190,000 tonnes of CO2e avoided annually through full implementation. That methodology, built with no Canadian precedent, now informs the Ministry’s strategy through 2030. Myrielle has led fleet roadmaps for 15 more organizations covering 14,500, updated a major airport’s net-zero plan, worked across aviation decarbonization and built Canada’s first public hydrogen project database, taken to Europe’s largest hydrogen conference to check the receipts and call out greenwashing.
