Neetu is powering electrification advancements in Canada through her innovations at Alectra’s GRE&T Centre. She has implemented and executed transformative pilot projects at Alectra, including the AlectraDrive @Work program, installing 34 EV charging stations across key sites. This initiative has facilitated over 15,800 charging sessions and, overcoming significant technology and integration challenges, achieved a 68% average reduction in demand during energy response events. Neetu’s work has significantly impacted customer behavior, with many citing availability of workplace charging as a key factor in their decision to purchase EVs. In early 2025, she is looking to initiate a vehicle-to-grid project aimed to scale bidirectional EV technologies to enhance electrification in Ontario.
