Rebecca Francolini, MSc

Recognizing that Portfolio Managers lack clear and concise information on how to act on climate change risk management, Rebecca took to the drawing board. True to the mantra “You can’t mitigate what you don’t measure”, she continues to annually calculate the weighted average carbon intensity of Mackenzie’s portfolio – providing actionable research and insight into it’s Top Emitters. Rebecca collaborates and engages with the firm’s Climate Working group and her team, to encourage effective and impactful climate integration throughout day-to-day work. To date, Rebecca’s collaborative work has since born fruit, with several companies having already made positive climate-related progress – including improved emission reduction and net zero planning.
