Increasingly, farmers are seeking to reduce their environmental impacts, and one of the most effective means of doing so is by shifting to renewable energy – while not giving up valuable land in the process. Eocycle’s best-in-class “small” distributed wind turbines are compact, easily erected, incredibly efficient, quiet and cost-effective, they enable their owners to decarbonize – and to save money, offering a 5 year payback on a 30 year product lifespan.
Leveraging favourable policies in the USA, Europe and now Canada, and fresh strategic partnerships with Dairy Farmers of America, Nutrien, Smithfield (the world’s largest pork producer) and Engie, sales have grown rapidly since Richard took the helm in 2013. Eocycle’s turbines work just as well in other settings – generating power at an effective cost in both commercial, industrial and micro-grid settings. Exports now make up ~85% of sales.
