Roby’s journey with Natural Forces Solar is a testament to visionary leadership and dedication to clean energy. In just five years, he transformed a modest solar installation firm into a powerhouse in distributed energy, growing the team from 5 to over 30. His commitment to capacity-building is evident in his work with First Nations communities, where he has co-founded joint ventures with Eskasoni First Nation and Paq’tnkek Mi’kmaw Nation, fostering local involvement and training. As a board member of Solar Nova Scotia, Roby has been instrumental in evolving the grassroots society into a formidable industry advocate. With the delivery of 4.5 MW through nearly 40 projects, Roby exemplifies a relentless drive to advance renewable energy and propel Canada towards a cleaner future.
