Ryan is powering a new energy paradigm as a visionary, leader, and investor. He played a key role in Blackstone’s groundbreaking partnership with Enbridge Sustain and the Canada Infrastructure Bank, resulting in the creation of a $300 million fund dedicated to large-scale green infrastructure upgrades. This initiative aims to decarbonize buildings through deep energy retrofits that guarantee a minimum of 30% GHG reductions per project. Over the past two years, under Ryan’s leadership, Blackstone has completed 50 million square feet of decarbonization action plans for client facilities, targeting the elimination of 140,000 tonnes of annual GHGs. Ryan also oversaw the development and deployment of blackPAC™, a distributed energy management system across Ontario facilities, integrating real-time energy and carbon data through nine unique modules, including EV and Solar, which connects with Blackstone’s gamified sustainability app, ecoBoss™, to drive stakeholder engagement.
