Simon Doray

CEO, INNOLTEK

If you’ve ever taken a city bus in one of the major cities in Quebec, chances are it was powered by Simon’s innovative biofuel, made mainly from waste animal fats recovered from food processing and transformed into high-performance fuel. By displacing fossil fuels and avoiding the disposal of animal fats, Innoltek’s biodiesel reduces GHG emissions by 136% compared to diesel, giving it the best-in-class environmental performance. Altogether, Innoltek biofuels displace 5 million litres of fossil fuels, replacing it by clean-burning biofuel. Under Simon, Innoltek has grown from being a small start-up company to become the largest manufacturer of biodiesel in Quebec, selling its biofuel across Canada and US.
