Sylvia reimagined that trillion-dollar blind spot in global commerce: returns. In just two years, she pioneered their Micro Forward Fulfillment (MFF) system, keeping international returns local and slashing emissions by 4.5 million kg of CO₂ — just during beta testing. By consolidating returns across Canada, the U.S., the UK, and Australia, she optimized routes, cut unnecessary shipments, and recovered 40% of items that would have otherwise hit landfills or been destroyed. High-volume merchants like SKIMS and FIGS are now onboard, with the potential to prevent over 45 million kg of CO₂ annually. Thanks to her visionary approach, the future of returns is looking less “returned” and more “re-claimed.”
