Tayber Yastremski, M.Eng, CEM, EP
From white boarding to rollouts, Tayber has been instrumental in re-writing the framework for modelling energy efficiency, clean tech, and GHG reductions within Canada’s built environment. He was the driver behind the approach that paired a redefined energy modelling framework, and a collective intelligence tool that converts high level sustainability plans into tangible, well defined steps. With this approach, he’s led his team through the testing of their technology and systems in 88 British Columbia public schools and just under 200 government buildings in the Yukon. They are also developing sustainability planning for government, residential, and corporate buildings across Canada, which once deployed could account for up to 41% of 2030 GHG reduction targets for the Canadian built environment.
