As she transforms energy challenges into actionable solutions, Vienna waits for no one in pursuing her vision, which combines modular battery storage, smart software, and solar integration, creating all-encompassing “microgrid-in-a-box” systems that are replicable, reliable, and cost-effective. Leading hybrid energy deployments that slash fuel costs, cut emissions, and enhance resilience in industrial sites, farms, and northern Indigenous communities, her team’s Kitchener pilot projects at three sites alone resulted in 53% in fuel savings and prevented 190 tonnes of CO₂ annually, with plans to scale across 300+ additional farms. With 289 MW under development and global deployments in six countries, she is putting Canadian clean energy innovation on the global map – while ensuring that underserved communities gain energy autonomy and efficiency.
