Zoltan was a key contributor in the design, development and launch of BDC Capital’s $500M Climate Tech Fund in November 2022, bringing total assets under management to $1.1B including BDC’s first Cleantech Fund.  Since its launch, the Climate Tech Fund has invested $68M in 13 climate tech companies which will help support Canada’s climate goals by dramatically reducing emissions in the built environment, mobility and via carbon dioxide removal. Including both BDC’s first Cleantech fund and the Climate Tech Fund, Zoltan directly led $71M of investment into 8 climate tech companies and oversaw an additional $30M of investments between January 2022 and March 2024. The fund’s ability to write larger, longer-term checks enables it to support more transformative solutions, helping to position Canada at the forefront of global climate innovation.
