Clean50 Featured in The Globe and Mail

By: Gavin Pitchford, Clean50 Executive Director and CEO of Delta Management Group

Last week was Earth Week, meaning Delta Management Group, in partnership with The Globe and Mail, is once again celebrating the winners of the Canada’s Clean50 Awards.

This is our twelfth (12th) list of the 50 most exceptional individual organizational leaders, politicians, scientists, civil servants, educators, investors, clean energy champions and clean tech entrepreneurs who have done the most to advance Canada’s low-carbon future over the past two years, plus 20 Emerging Leaders (35 or under), 25 Top Sustainability Projects, and 5 more long-term champions recognized with Lifetime Achievement Awards.

In all, 100 award winners who should give you hope that climate action is happening – and helping drive a robust low carbon economy for Canada on the path to net zero.

Our thanks to the Globe and Mail for sharing these stories with us for the past 9 years! And a special thank you to the winners- these are unique individuals whose work is exceptional, tireless and impactful, helping drive the change we need.

We at Delta are pleased and proud to be the steward of this program which has led to thousands of fruitful cross-organizational and cross-sectoral collaborations over the past since 2011. And we’re on to looking for the next 100 winners to be on the 2024 list! The list is to be announced in the Fall of 2023, and nominations are open today – go to the Nominate tab above to nominate someone! Nominations close on Canada Day.
