Barbara Zvan

As one of the world’s most notable pension ambassadors, Barbara uses her global platform to bring institutional resources, influence and expertise to pressing ESG challenges. Through the creation of the Ontario Teachers’ responsible investing platform, she built up the expertise and infrastructure required to integrate ESG throughout the pension plan. Shehelped spearhead consultation with hundreds of public and private stakeholders in order toadvise the federal government on the role of the financial sector in advancing Canada’s sustainability objectives. Additionally, she has played leadership roles in sustainability initiatives at a number of global organizations, including the Investor Leadership Network, the International Centre for Pension Management and the Canadian Coalition for Good Governance.
