Carol-Ann Brown

Carol-Ann’s efforts to advance cleantech solutions in Canada include bridging the gap between cleantech innovators and industry; helping Canadian cleantech projects secure over $60 million in funding; de-risking technologies that address large industrial environmental challenges; and finding financing for companies that are moving from the start-up to the commercialization stage. She facilitates Foresight Cleantech Accelerator Centre’s Innovation Challenge program, focusing on defining intractable challenges to then source, develop and test cleantech solutions. Carol-Ann also managed the consultation and research processes for the Government of Canada’s Clean Technology Data Strategy, and advised ISED on Canada’s need for improved cleantech accelerator collaboration.
