Giselle, James and Melissa have led their team to create unique tenant engagement and energy efficiency programs which have helped drive carbon reductions across 130+ million square feet of real estate. Through these programs, Bentall Kennedy managed properties across both Canada and the US continue to improve their energy efficiency, including some gains of 35%+ over the past two years.   James has co-authored the most downloaded UNEP FI paper on commercial real estate. They have run interactive ESG workshops with Bentall Kennedy’s   top 150 Canadian and American senior managers to facilitate the creation of a common language around sustainability. Beyond this, the team ensures Renewable Energy Certificates are purchased for 100% of electricity use at corporate offices and carbon offsets purchased for 100% of corporate travel and commuting.
